Beware: EXPIRED baby products sold here!
I am incredibly disappointed and frustrated with the customer service I have received from Ocado. As a customer, I trusted the company to provide quality products, especially when it comes to baby healthcare items. However, my recent experience with them has left me feeling misled and betrayed. I purchased several boxes of Equazen Capsules Eye Q Baby Capsules as gifts for distant relatives last December. To my dismay, I discovered that the products had a shelf life of only five months, despite the fact that the normal shelf life for this type of product is three years. This means that the products would expire in May of this year, leaving my relatives with only a limited time to use them safely on their baby. When I contacted Ocado's customer service to address this issue, I was met with unhelpful and unsympathetic responses. They refused to issue a refund unless I returned the products, which was not possible due to the distance and the fact that the products had already been opened. Despite providing all necessary evidence, including photos and a bank statement, they ignored my request for a refund. It is unacceptable that a company would sell products that are harmful to babies due to their short shelf life, and then refuse to issue a refund when customers are affected by this issue. This is not only irresponsible but also unethical. As a parent, I cannot tolerate such negligence when it comes to the health and well-being of my child or any other child. Furthermore, I was shocked to learn that Ocado would sell nearly expired products at regular prices, especially when it comes to baby health products! This is a blatant disregard for customer safety and a violation of trust. To make matters worse, Ocado refused to let me shoot a video of myself throwing away the expired products as proof that they will not be resold to unsuspecting customers. This is highly concerning, and I find it extremely difficult to trust that they will keep their promise not to sell these products again. In light of this experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend Ocado to anyone, and I will not be using their services again. I urge the company to take responsibility for their mistake and provide a fair solution for affected customers. They must improve their customer service to better handle issues like this and take more care in ensuring the quality and shelf life of their products. In conclusion, I urge anyone considering using Ocado to think twice. They may have a wide range of products and convenient delivery options, but their lack of regard for customer safety and well-being is unacceptable. Save yourself the headache and choose a more responsible and ethical company for your shopping needs.
