Tastes like sugar syrup
This Epicure product doesn't taste like honey, it tastes like cheap sugar syrup.
Does not taste of honey
I bought this as I thought Epicure were a quality, trusted brand. However, this product is nothing like real honey, more like golden syrup. It has no notes of blossom whatsoever.
Very tasty
I nearly didnt buy this because of the negative reviews, but I think its lovely. Not sure how long it will last without crystallising but its fine a few weeks after opening.
Not sure its honey
The source of the honey is unclear on the label. Its not unpleasant as such, but tastes of toffee rather than honey. Given recent articles about British honey being declined import licenses by the eu because tests showed it was adulterated with sugar syrup, I have to question the provenance of this product. I will avoid in future.
Tastes bad
Can't really explain it better than this. It doesn't taste like honey to me.
Strange scent and flavour
I wondered what the scent reminded me of and then I realised it was bleach! I added a small amount to a cup of warm milk and found it also tasted of bleach. My hubby said it has no flavour, it's just sweet, so maybe it's just me but I won't be buying again.
