Prefer it to be more grated than chopped
Had expected the pieces to be more fine, but great taste nonetheless.
easy and long lasting
Ive used the ginger purée in a tube for years but was sent this to review. Product does the same job (although its not a purée just strips) and its in a glass jar so not plastic which seems a good thing from a green perspective. The jar will last ages but I think Ill stick to this next time.
Handy to have in the cupboard but prefer fresh
I cook with fresh ginger regularly but it is fiddly to prepare. This is a great product to have in the cupboard for so many uses, although to be honest for certain dishes I would still go for fresh ginger.
Convenient
Great to have in the fridge to add to stir frys, curries, broth bowls etc.
Convenient and tasty
A very handy store cupboard item for those times when you want to cook up something tasty but dont have fresh ginger in stock. This wont work for all recipes due to its coarseness, but it is super handy for curries and stir fries.
