Great for Hummus
Good quality chickpea for Hummus. Soak overnight.
Worst chickpeas ever!
After soaking these for 2 days and nights and trying to cook them for over an hour, I had to admit defeat and toss the lot! I would have asked for a refund, only it was too late by the time I realized hoe useless these are. Don't waste your money!
Not for coeliacs!
Ocado, please add under allergy that they are packaged in a factory that handles peanuts, tree nuts, sesame seeds, gluten, wheat, milk powder, soya and mustard, as per the products packaging. They are therefore not suitable for coeliacs. Have asked for a refund.
Remained hard
Soaked in water for 24 hours, then boiled for 2 hours, but remained hard and didn’t take on the taste of what I was cooking with.
good quality
Have bought them few times. Recommend to add half a teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate to break down the thick Chickpeas proteins. Pressure cook, And then make it into a quick curry.
Not very good
Stayed hard after soaking and cooking, seemed like old chickpeas.
