To this pasta made from durum wheat semolina we added about 30% of legumes (green lentils). The lentils seem to be the oldest cultivated legume, whose origins date back to 7000 BC. These ancient cultures already knew that the secret of legumes was their variety and remarkable nutritional properties. Drying process at low temperature

Instructions

Hob - From Ambient. Bring 1 liter of salted water per 100g of pasta to boil.
Stir it and cook "al dente" according to the cooking time.
Drain it and flavour with your favourite sauce.

Tasty

Tasty pasta. Really enjoyed. Was looking for a pasta higher in protein, although I note one reviewer highlighted that this wasnt 100% made from lentils which I hadnt noticed. Either way, this was lovely cooked down with some feta cheese and cherry tomatoes. A nice alternative to normal pasta.

Misleading - not lentil pasta

This is misleading. Its wheat pasta with a tiny amount of lentils in. Tesco sells 100% red lentil pasta (thats delicious!) for a fraction of the cost. As a coeliac, we cant eat these - to the food donation bin they go!

texture like whole wheat pasta

These are nice if you are happy with whole wheat pasta like texture. The bean flavor is palpable so I think these would be best with a strong flavored sauce like puttanesca. With just butter and cheese which is what my kids like, the flavor was too strong

Perfect Pasta

You wouldnt know that green lentils were part of the ingredients, this product cooked beautifully and tasted delicious with a lovely texture, like fresh pasta.
