Good wine, very drinkable
This is the best of the red wines that I have tried from Ocado, and I am a well seasoned red wine drinker. Well rounded. Leave to breathe for an hour or so. Will not disappoint.
delicious Cotes du Rhone
Really enjoyed this Cotes du Rhone- it is not too heavy, just excellent and perfect for dinner with friends or family. Great quality, loved it and have already bought again.
3 times ordered 3 times substituted
While on 25pct offer I ordered this 3 times in a row and 3 times was substituted, despite still showing as Available. Is it just a hook for Ocado to sell off other red wine? I messaged Ocado and was told that as my order was mostly substituted they would give me a £10 voucher via email. 24 hours later it hasnt appeared.
What year vintage is actually being sold?
The picture of the bottle says 2016; the detail in the blurb says 2014 (which is definitely wrong). 2016 is really nice. If as I suspect I end up with 2017, that is nowhere nearly as good as the 2016
In stock or not?
Great wine if you can get it. It is in stock online but for two weeks in a row it has been substituted.
This is excellent wine
Most people with qualifications would know that Guigal is an excellent name, hailing from further up the Rhône both figuratively and literally in the stratosphere of exquisite Syrah that is Cote Rotie. This is an awesome entry level masterpiece of the classic southern Rhône varietal blend. Awesome.
