National Trust CJ Wildlife Insect Peanut Cake 300g
£2.50
£8.33 per kgProduct information
These high energy nut cakes with insects make an ideal treat for all year round feeding. The cakes are made from a combination of fats and highly nutritious peanut flour meaning they have a higher food value than most comparable products. They give the birds the ideal energy boost they need particularly on cold winter nights and during the breeding season. As this product is soft it's ideal for young fledglings.

Birds Say Yes
The birds give this their vote, easy to put out and lowish price, lasts well despite much pecking by all species in the garden.
what has happened
What on earth has happened to these. I have had them and others like them for years but at the moment instead of coming out in a slab you have to pick the fat out and much of it remains stuck to the plastic tray. Please, please National Trust, sort these out.
popular
It's soft and a bit messy to cut up but worth the mess. Smeared on tree branches and on feeding tables it's a massive hit with the local blue and great tits. The magpies and starlings love it too.
the birds love it.
obvs not tried myself but a wide variety of birds love it, spread on a branch or in the cage feeder. Also the squirrels will hang from the branch above by their back legs to access it. A delightful scene in my garden!
