Root Beer
Ordered this by mistake rather than Ginger Beer as it was promoted when I searched ginger beer, dont make that mistake this taste awful. I got four people to try it and each person had the same reaction!
Overwhelming taste of liquorice
I bought this accidentally when I meant to order the ginger beer. I thought I’d give them a go anyway but I found them to taste very strongly of liquorice, which is not a flavour I enjoy.
Recipe change, not good
They changed the recipe on this once fantastic root beer. It now tastes awful. I think they replaced the sugar with some kind of sweetener. It doesn't work for me.
Tasty but additives like sucralose, preservatives
Does the job for a root beer float but Virgil has a superior taste with far fewer additives. Love the quantity, shape of bottles etc but wish they had a cleaner formulation!
Cloyingly sweet
Much too sweet, and I say that as someone who has two sugars in tea. However, if you dilute it with about a third sparkling water it's quite palatable, if not very gingery.
Booo. Now with Sucralose
Used to be a fam fav but more. Yuck!
