Fantastic!!
This Cassis is worlds apart from other brands!! Fresh with so much zingy fruit flavour, but also rich and deep without any sickly sweetness. Its what Ive always hoped Cassis always would be, but other brands never quite met expectations for me. Absolutely love this though! Neat over ice with a dash of Pernod is stunning, but looking forward to trying some other cocktails with it too. Really good, highly recommend
Beautiful full flavour
Have now gifted two of these and they were very well received. The blackcurrant flavour comes through richly and not overly sweet. Perfect for a twist on a bramble cocktail or a black bison. And so good to see a cassis made in this country
Disappointing
I think this tasted ok when I bought it. However within a couple of months it had gone off and developed a sharp, slightly vinegary tone.
Should have kept it for Ribena.
I wanted so badly for this to be good. It isn’t. It is missing the dark, unctuous, syrupy blackcurrant liquor that I expect from a premium brand.
Absolutely delicious.
Having first tried & bought this at the BBC Good Food show & then directly from the company I'm thrilled that I can now buy it with my regular shopping. It tastes of fresh blackcurrant juice & isn't sickly sweet like some of the other versions out there. Its delicious.
Would be five stars if organic
Really fine cassis. Truly enjoyed, would be superb if organic!
