Great product
really authentic flavours, and better than when I use my own chorizo, garlic and saffron. we use one sachet for 3 portions rather than the recommended one sachet for 6 portions which may be too mild.
Authentic
This is as close to the spice mixed you can get in Spain. Gives a good authentic flavour. You should be using a good stock to make paella so if you are only using water you will need a stock cube too - this is not the fault of the spice mix. It's not artificially coloured with E-numbers or turmeric so just gives gentle colour.
poor value for money
This is not worth the money for 9g of seasoning. Shockingly bad value.
a regular purchase, so good
I always use this when making paella and add more saffron. This is an excellent boost to the flavour, I hope ocado never stops selling it.
no point
I cant find any point to use this. Colour was red. Taste was not enough flavour. End up using stock and other spices. Theres no shortcuts for cooking Paella.
Quite bland
To me this is quite bland and a chicken stock cube is definitely required to give it enough flavour, and thats for two people. Not sure how one little sachet would be enough for six as per the packet. The Schwartz mix is better.
