Brindisa Navarrico Round White Haricot Beans "Alubias Blancas" 600g
£4.50
75p per 100gProduct information
Navarrico haricot beans are produced in Navarra, the garden of Northern Spain.
Conservas Artesanas El Navarrico was established by Hercules Amalia and Jose Salcedo in 1960. Their children and grandchildren now run the business. They process their fruit and vegetables amongst the fertile fields of the Ebro valley, where Navarra meets La Rioja.
These are premium grade haricot beans have a sweet, creamy flavour and thin, tender skins. They are prepared with only water and a little salt - cooked in the same manner as the Spanish do at home. Healthy as well as delicious, they are high in dietary fibre, rich in protein and a good source of antioxidants.
Rich and creamy, Navarrico haricot beans are a great store cupboard standby for tuna salads and creamy bean soups.

Flavour sensation
Incredible flavour and texture. Delicious.
large beans with plenty of salt and preservative
You ll do as tasty and cheaper by using an organic version. salt is what makes the taste difference.
sulphites sadly spoil
I have a wonderful Prue Leith cassoulet recipe and have always used these as makes it special but then read they contain sulphites - why? Such a shame. Tins from now on.
lovely if you like mould
When I opened the jar there was a centimetre of grey mould on top. I would send a picture but that doesn't seem to be possible.
Divine
Hard not to eat the whole lot straight from the jar
I love these
They are very tasty if you like this slightly soft consistency, but I know that not everyone would agree
