The only apricot jam I buy
Consistently good and have been buying this for years now. I have occasionally tried other brands but always return to this.
chunks of apricot in a thin sauce
this is a very sweet conserve. It's not Rick like jam its a sticky watery sauce with chunks of apricot in. It's extremely sweet not tangy. Its good for having with a very crusty baguette and tastes like being on holiday!
too sweet, flavourless
Im searching for the perfect tangy apricot jam, but this isnt it. Its overly sweet, with no flavour. I will be trying a different one next time.
Love this jam
Very popular with all in the house
Lush!
This is the closest to homemade apricot jam I've found. A lovely soft-set with big pieces of fruit. Yum!
Sugary and bland
This has none of the delicious tartness I associate with apricots: you might just as well be spreading honey on your toast, except that then at least it would taste of honey and not of the tragic syrups of despair. I've bought it before, and I was so shocked by the lack of flavour this time that I took an extra LFT just to make sure I wasn't suffering a loss of my sense of taste via COVID. I'm *sure* it used to taste better than it does now, so perhaps they've reduced the strength of flavour to encourage people to buy the "apricot intense", which costs more, instead.
