Buy on offer
We buy these on offer. They can make a home chippy tea with sweet potato fries. We always over cook them slightly. Nice also for lunch with ketchup and white bread.
What has happened
Used to buy these regularly as they were so good. However, the last pack I bought were very substandard in comparison. Price up, quality down. The breadcrumb coating fell off one after cooking, to reveal a miniscule bit of fish that was as thick as a ruler. No more for me.
The best!
Bird’s Eye Haddock Fish Fingers and Cod Fish Fingers are equally delicious and the best brand by far - even better than Young’s. They are slightly bigger than Young’s and have a lovely crisp golden coating which stays crisp (oven baked as instructed) and a delicious succulent white fishy interior with no grey soggy bits. Perfect!
Delicious
Always go back to these they are the best . Small but really tasty and crispy . I cooked them in the air fryer and they are lovely . Put them in a brioche bun with Mayo , tartare, sliced gherkins and cheese . Spot on !
really nice fish fingers
I love these fish fingers especially in a fish finger sandwich
Great quality
As fish fingers go - these are great. Breadcrumb coating is light and crunchy, and the lovely white haddock is moist and tasty. A bit dearer than the cod version, but haddock has a much better flavour in my opinion. Also, Id never buy fish fingers that dont specify the fish used - if its described as fish its probably pollock.
