For health
people who need for high cholesterol are usually older, the price is to high on a pension to use all the time. iv been using other brands when on offer to stock up. 3 stars hence price.
Using to lower our cholesterol but price rising!
I’ve got used to the taste and feel we need to use this to lower our cholesterol but price rising recently. Inoffensive taste compared to most spreads.
helped lower my cholesterol
My cholesterol was 5.3 and changing my spread from butter to this has lowered cholesterol to 4. Yea its not the same as butter but it still tastes good with healthy benefit. Shame its so expensive which is why Ive given 5 stars.
Healthy spread
GP recommended this spread to help lower cholesterol. I believe it really does help and I like the taste and the fact that it spread well straight out of the fridge. What I don't l like is the fact that it goes up in price every week. Last week it was £3.90 (up from £3.25) this week is £4.50!!
We have used this for years & like it
Ever since the programme on tv that said it truly does benefit health. We like the flavour, obviously not the same as butter but what is! And the palm oil is responsibly sourced.
oily tasteless but edible
I used to buy benecol spread years ago, tasted really nice, bought this as the full fat version was awful. This one is slightly better but still not nice. It gives toast and bread more of a flavour but that's it. If it didn't have any health benefits it would not be on my list. Bring the old version back.
