4.0 grams salt!!!!!!
I was going to buy this as a quick and healthy dinner but four grams salt put me off and thanks to several other reviewers, who also said it was salty I am saving my money and health... Amisa take note...I am a healthy 75 year old and haven't eaten salt in the last 70 years and believe it or not, I am still alive, and about the only person I know who is not on any form of medication!!! I do eat a lot of fish though
Only weighs 100g!
The pack says 160g but it only contains 100g. Already rather pricey anyway :(
Superb!
I rarely buy sort of pre-made stuff but this is fully organic, great ingredients and nothing nasty (very often found even in organic products), and it is much quicker for me to prepare falafel without having myself to mix the spices (risking to make the wrong proportions/to run out of something/etc). We love them in the house!
Lovely but salty
Really Lovely falafel with good ingredients and easy to make. I baked mine instead of frying them. The only thing is that they are quite salty, this could easily be reduced by the company.
falafel short of my expectations
personally I didn't notice that it was particularly salty, but it just didn't taste falafelly enough for me. Half decent but I'd seek out other brands.
A good product ruined by too much salt
The falafel tasted so strongly of salt, I went to check the packet. The salt content is 4g per 100g of falafel. Anything over 1.5g is classed as high, and in this case, unnecessary as the falafel would taste great without it.
