Recommended but not for every washing-up job
Great for most washing-up but brushes are never that good at dried on particles, stains or baked- or burnt-on food. Described as having synthetic bristles and suitable for most washing up but particularly cups, bowls and glassware, I wasnt surprised it cant do heavy-duty jobs. Its about as effectiven as a non-scratch scourer, so even with bent and worn bristles, the brush stays effective for so long that Id need to spend more money on scourers for them to last as long as 1 brush (even taking into account extra scourers for the tough jobs the brush cant do). I havent used it as much as a stubby bamboo brush I bought with it, but both are 2yrs+ old and dont show signs of black mould (though that could be because they go into a mug of boiling water after each use. I leave it there while I dry up then I turn them upside down to dry. I usually prefer long handled brushes but this one isnt ergonomically shaped and doesnt fit well in my hand (hence the stubby one being used more).
Hard wearing
This brush has performed very well. It has a good solid feel and I bought one to have in stock when it was on offer.
Not good for cleaning
Bamboo brushes feel like a more environmentally friendly choice so when my usual brand was out of stock I bought this one. Never again! The brush does not clean. I don't know how this is possible as the bristles are hard and have a large surface area but it wouldn't get into the corners of pans and no amount of brushing would get off some stuck on food that my other brush would have removed quickly. I would not buy this brush again. It is not fit for purpose. Regrettably I bought two the first time round!
Rubbish
All bristles bent in a couple of weeks and made of plastic. Waste of money and not eco.
Really wanted to like this!
Unfortunately the brush head came off within the first few days of using the brush. Disappointingly bad quality, and as the other reviews mention, definitely not eco-friendly.
cynical and badly made
This is mainly plastic - the bristles are plastic and the grey head is plastic. As other reviewers have said, its no good as the bristles get bent and squashed within a few days of use.
