Mother nature evolved dogs and wolves as carnivores, 'meat eaters', animals deriving their energy and nutrient requirements mainly from meat protein. However, a study has found that a key factor in the domestication of dogs was their ability to easily digest carbohydrates and starch in food. Whilst this may be true, at Pet Food UK we always believe in a happy balance and fully understand that there is no one food that works for all dogs. This is the prime reason for formulating AATU, a bespoke and unique 80/20 diet that can benefit dogs who suit a higher meat diet. AATU was the first mono protein 80/20 balanced diet, and is made using fresh, raw and dehydrated fish and animal protein.
The fresh and raw protein is pre-cooked using our 'low & slow'™ method to ensure efficient digestion of the meats. AATU is free of grain, white potato and gluten (a composite known to cause allergic reactions) and is a low glycemic diet.
AATU is veterinary approved and can be fed on its own or with its nutritionally partnered AATU for Dogs canned meats.

'They are what they eat' - feeding guide
Although AATU is a highly concentrated feed and generally less quantity will be required to maintain a healthy weight, our table is a guide. We know that every dog is as unique as the family they live with. Factors including age, activity, metabolism and the time can also have an effect. Please check with your vet that your dog is at their correct healthy weight.
Daily suggested feeding amounts for adult dogs:
Weight of Dog (kg): 5kg, Activity Level/Amount per day low to high: 75-100gm
Weight of Dog (kg): 10kg, Activity Level/Amount per day low to high: 80-140gm
Weight of Dog (kg): 15kg, Activity Level/Amount per day low to high: 100-210gm
Weight of Dog (kg): 20kg, Activity Level/Amount per day low to high: 120-250gm
Weight of Dog (kg): 30kg, Activity Level/Amount per day low to high: 190-350gm
Weight of Dog (kg): 40kg+, Activity Level/Amount per day low to high: 270-450gm+
Although your dog may want to devour the whole bag we strongly recommend that you replace 25% of their existing food every other day until they are eating 100% AATU. Always ensure there is a fresh bowl of water at all times.

Dog is happy
My dog is usually not a fan of kibbles (main meals are fresh food or wet food) but he loves this one. No problem with the switching of brands. And the ingredients list looks pretty good.

excellent quality and a hit with my dog
My Clumber spaniel has had some tummy issues so I wanted him on a single protein food with no chicken fat or potato and thats harder to find than you might think! This is the highest % single protein food with no nasties in it and fortunately my dog loves it. His tummy issues have cleared and hes satisfied, despite only needing 185g per day. Definitely worth the cost.

Perfect
Our spaniel loves these. We use them as treats and they last for ages and he never gets bored of them. I think the high meat (fish) content suits him because hes so active.

My dog loves this food.
My dog had a lot of stomach issues earlier this year, but since only feeding her fish based food all problems have disappeared. She is a fussy eater but seems to love this food. Can you please start selling the 5kg packs too.
