Rubbish
Candles that dont light!!! I tried for good few minutes on each candle, but they wouldnt light. Took off the cake and put straight into the bin. I cant recommend this product.
disappointing!
Although they looked very pretty in the photos, the candles didn't all fit the holders - too small or too large. Fortunately, I had others that I used instead.
Underwhelming!
First of all, dont populate your cake with a lot of flammable decoration using these - my daughter had a small, plastic figure and a cardboard back drop. The candles werent hugely close but took SO damn long to light I feared the whole arrangement would go up (use one of those long gas barbecue igniters and save your fingers, definitely not a normal match or cigarette lighter job!) I think you would have to present in a very dark room to get the full effect - in daylight looked like nothing. Honestly, dont waste your money and buy proper candles.
Meh
I think 'meh' sums up these candles. They are a half hearted attempt at something interesting and don't really achieve even that.
Dangerous Fire Risk
Be careful as the flame can be impossible to see once lit. And it doesn't even do as described. We got 2 orange flames & the rest were clear. A dangerous transparent very faintly blue flame that's almost invisible. When done, everyone thought all the flames were out. One was still lit. We would've had a fire/burns, if I wasn't that ultra careful person & noticed. Where's quality control! I'm surprised these are allowed to be sold.
Faulty
Never known birthday cake candles to be faulty but these were almost impossible to light and when they did you could hardly see the flame. We only attempted to light 4 of them. Spoilt the moment.
