this is my 2nd Zyliss frying pan!
first one lasted about 8 months before everything started sticking, I even tried seasoning to see if that helped, but no joy, luckily it had a guarantee, and to be fair they replaced it with no bother. 2nd pan has lasted about 10 months and same happed again. I only use plastic utensils on the pan, and wash when needed to with warm soapy water and a nylon scrubber. before this I had a basic non stick pan made by a very 'orange' supermarket chain and it lasted me years and only cost me about £8! I'm not sure if all these 'posh pans are a bit of a con!
Great for a while
Nice, fairly heavy pan with good even cooking. However, the non-stickiness didn't last long - you never expect great longevity from nonstick but this barely made it to a year. Slightly bumpy texture works well at the start.
Bottom of pan came off - useless
The non-stick has lasted BUT the metal plate on the bottom of the pan has come off in less than 2 years rendering the pan useless. 10 year non-stick warranty is worthless if rest of pan doesnt last. I have put in the dishwasher and again the non-stick is ok but the coating on the rest of the pan is coming off on various places. Dont waste your money!
Non stick wore off
This pan was brilliant at first, but it didnt last. Everything sticks and Ive just binned it after trying to remove an omelette. To say it works without oil is just not true - it doesnt work with oil!! I also purchased the smaller one, and although they say induction compatible, that one doesnt work on induction! There must be quality control problems. Do not waste your money!
Barely lasted a year \x26 guarantee not honoured
I'm very disappointed with this product. We looked after it really carefully and the non stick has gone after a year. It definitely doesn't last 10 years! Also very disappointed that Ocado have not helped at all with claiming under said guarantee. Disappointing customer service to add to the disappointing product.
Awesome pans!
I’ve had the 20cm version of this for several years now and it’s still as good as the day I bought it. I’ve now bought more of the set. The non-stick surface is amazing and very durable. Mine has been through the dishwasher loads. I mainly use wooden utensils but have even used metal with these pans without issue. The only thing I’d say is if using gas and you let the flame lick up the side too much it can cause the handle to burn, and this smells bad!
