love it
The porridge is sweet enough without the jam. If you don't like the jam, don't add the jam. Some of the varieties use organic oats and I wish they all did.
my favorite quick porridge
This is my favorite quick porridge, but I'd only recommend it to someone with a sweet tooth! It's the perfect amount, and, for me, the perfect sweetness.
Love these, hate the price
Tasty & convenient…. All the Wolfys porridge’s are great, however they’re just not economical…. They should consider selling these in multipacks.
too sweet and berries sickly syrup
Added sugar makes it too sweet even before you add the fruit flavoured syrup which regular jam has more fruit in
Unpleasant
Just tried this porridge pot and I would not recommend at all. It has an unpleasant sickly smell and is way too sweet. Plus, the packaging is a challenge. If Id been trying to gain access to the oats early in the morning it would probably have ended up in the kitchen bin
Very good porridge
This porridge is really good. I take it to work every day (Wolfys generally not just this one). Its really easy to make, uses good oats, tastes great and the jam pot is so much better than the flavourings used by other brands. The main criticisms on here seem to be that they use jam rather than real fruit (the product is designed to be kept in a cupboard and with a long date!) or that you could do it cheaper with bags of oats and/or jars of jam (well yeah, obviously, but that isnt an appropriate comparison unless you are eating them at home, have lots of time on your hands and dont mind the hassle). My only criticism is that a pot of jam cannot be a surprise if you write that there is a surprise pot of jam on the tub.
