Preparation and Usage
Tip 2: For a particularly close shave, use shaving gel or soap. This also ensures that the blades of your razor glide easily over the skin, protecting against shaving irritation. Shave without pressure.

Like Shaving Your Face With an Oar
I've used the previous WS 3-blade for years now. I couldn't find those blades, and opted for this since it was on offer. Awful. See headline. It feels way too big for using on your face. Leg, maybe (but that's not for me). Plus it leaves a gooey trail behind, like something from an Alien film... A step backwards.
Worst razor I've used in 30 years of shaving
I made the mistake of buying a new razor and blades as it was cheaper than just the blades for my existing handle. I initially thought it was rubbish but figured I needed to get used to it but having used it for a couple of months now I can see I was correct first time, it's much harder to shave cleanly and I've cut myself more times in 2 months than in the previous 5 years. Hydro 3 are best avoided.
good, but a bit difficult to manoeuvre
I got this as a free sample to review. My husband found it gave a good shave overall. On the downside, it was a bit difficult to manoeuvre around his nose, so it was difficult to get a really clean shave.
just ok
I received this product to review for Ocado. My husband has tried it and isnt a fan of the gel strip. He found he didnt get a great shave on the first couple of uses until the gel wore down a bit. Possibly just too used to his old favourite brand!
Does what it says
I was sent this by Ocado in return for an honest review, which is easy to do as it simply works. It gives a clean shave, which is exactly what it is supposed to do. What more is there to say?
