Nazli, in the Aegean region of Western Turkey, is where we source our Smyrna Figs. We chose these figs as we love the way they are left on the trees until they are perfectly ripe and sweet, they then naturally fall to the ground where they are gently laid out to dry in the Turkish sun.

Lovely figs

Great to keep in the cupboard or fridge for snacking or adding to yogurt or cereals. I limit myself to 3 per day as Im dieting and they fill a spot instead of having chocolate and are much more healthier.

yummy and sweet

I love these. Theyre a decent price on offer and theyre soft, gooey and sweet. Just wish the packet was filled more or they used less packaging.

Potentially good

Definitely ugly and very nice according to my roommate! I found them a bit too tough and not quite sweet enough for me compared to the fresh variety.

Slimy

I love figs so expected to enjoy them dried. Unfortunately they weren't as dry as expected and had a slimy texture. Will chop up and add to chutney and stick to dates or raisins for snacking on.
