works well for me
I have been using this as a night cream and as a day cream in winter for two years now. I really, really like it. I began using it because I noticed lines around my eyes for sometime I tired a few other products first. The lines have gone now (Im in my late 30s). I really like the smell and a little goes a long way. I dont wear makeup often but it does help my compact to sit well if I wear it under makeup. I prefer wearing something with spf in the daytime and is why I dont wear it day and night all year round. But it helps my skin feel better when the radiator and cold weather are starting to take its toll on my skin esp by January... I hope the ingredients dont change or my skin doesnt change - its nice to be able to rely on a product.
It's making me break out
I tried this for about 3 weeks. I noticed spots straight away on my skin and was hoping it was due to something else, but in the end I couldn't take it any more. As soon as I stopped, my skin cleared up straight away.
Doesn't suit my skin
This is way too drying for my skin. I bought it based on the previous reviews however rather than moisturising my skin, my skin feels dryer than ever! Rather than wasting it, I'm having to mix in some facial oil to combat this but I won't be buying in the future.
Good for people younger than me
I've given this cream five stars as I like it and it's doing its best on my dry skin, however having looked at the Weleda web site it's recommended for people in their 30s. Given that I can nearly double that it's no wonder it's struggling a bit with my dry skin. It's a shame Ocado don't mention the recommended age range in their description. That said, I shall stick with the brand when I use up my Rose cream by buying the Evening Primrose cream which is more age appropriate. If Ocado aren't stocking it I'll go straight to Weleda.
Never too late !
This cream has transformed my somewhat tired looking, skin. I wouldn't have thought it possible to achieve such a remarkable result, a gentle exfoliating procedure, wish I had purchased a long time ago.
I tried this day cream as it was on offer. I've now just bought my second tube at full price because my complexion is so much better and has a more youthful glow. I've never found a cream that smoothes so easily in to the skin. It's not heavy but it moisturises so well. Being lazy, I've even used it on my eyes too in the mornings, and had no problems at all. Occasionally, I wear foundation, and the cream provides a good base. It took me a couple of days to get used to the natural Weleda type fragrance, but on the plus side, I have sensitive skin and always have to buy hypoallergenic moisturisers, but this cream has not been a problem. I'm not far off 60 and haven't had such young looking skin for years. Delighted with this product!
