The waste paper is sorted and only the best quality material delivered to a UK mill.
Next the paper is washed with water and printed ink, plastic and staples are removed.
The cleaned paper pulp is pressed, hot air dried and rolled into 'reels'. Excess water is re-used within the factory.
Finally the paper 'logs' are cut into individual toilet rolls, and packed ready for delivery to our stores.

Sadly, it's too rough!
It's bearable but not comfortable. Strong and thick but possibly likely to block the loo. Package it in paper and make it a little softer and thinner and it would be a great product!
rough toilet paper, not worth the money
Shame it's too rough
I used to buy this maybe a couple years ago and it was thin but ok. In my recent purchase I found out this product has become stronger but also very rough to touch. I won't be buying this again I'm afraid.
Great this has recycled content doesn't breakdown
Obviously a huge plus this roll is recycled, but after use it doesn't seem to breakdown in water which itself could be a problem. What's holding it together? The Waitrose Essential variety disintegrates on contact with water.
good everyday toilet paper
Would be 5 stars if the packaging wasnt plastic.
not good paper
More pale grey than white and more rough than soft. Would not have this in my bathroom when expecting visitors. Will not buy again.
