In 1831 we created Earl Grey tea in our shop the Strand on the request of the Prime Minister. He loved it so much he gave his name to it. Before long it had taken London by storm and it is still a firm favourite amongst people who like things with a twist, who travel off the beaten track and don't always play by the rules.
What does it taste like?
A delicate tea with a delicious twist of citrusy bergamot that you can enjoy all day long.
What makes this tea different?
We carefully select a tea that a light, delicate and refreshing. It blends perfectly with the unique citrusy bergamot.

Even compared to the non decaf version, which in itself isn't the best, this decaf is very weak and weedy. You still get some of the bergamot flavour, but very little colour or actual tea taste. There are so many better ones out there (Sainsburys). I just wish Ocado stocked more variety for decaf Earl Grey as this one is pretty useless.
Weak and tasteless
even tried 2 bags but still looked like dish water
Wish there was another decaffeinated in offer
I wish there was another decaffeinated earl grey in offer. This one isn't bad but honestly there are some much better even own brands one.
Its OK but theres much better out there (clipper) pls stock this Ocado!! This one takes ages to brew and lacks flavour, but its better than nothing I suppose!
Be prepared to have to use two tea bags for one cup of tea if you want a decent brew. Sorry, but not a patch on Sainsbury's own Earl Grey Decaffeinated.
The only tea to drink! Just wish you stocked a larger box.
