Twinings Assam Tea 40 per pack
£3.50
8.8p eachProduct information
A bold, satisfying, proper cup of tea with a full-bodied, lasting flavour.
Where does it come from?
There are only two places in the world where tea plants are native. Assam in north-east India is one of them. We've been sourcing tea from gardens on the flood plains of the Brahmaputra River since 1838. That's how we know our Assam contains only the best.
What makes this tea different?
Our Assam leaves aren't picked until June because that's when they start making the best-tasting tea. Off-peak is just not the same.

Expensive yes
Flavour yes, have not found an Assam this family preferers more. Star off for the price.
Where is Marks and Spencer Assam Tea Bags?
We like Assam tea and use to purchase Waitrose own brand Assam tea bags from Ocado. When Ocado partnered with M&S Assam tea bags were available from M&S, but they have now stopped. Twinnings are too expensive, so I stock up with Waitrose own brand when I'm passing their store!
Ocado why have you stopped stocking M&S Assam Tea?
I will not be forced to buy Twinings and Taylors is ridiculously expensive. Why do you keep retiring popular M&S staples?
A good strong brew
Assam is my favourite tea just perfect for a northern lass who enjoys a builders brew!
Yuck
Waitrose Assam was half the price and consistently v very good. Is this the shape of things to come when we see M&S introduced, higher price, lower quality? These tea sweepings might be Twinings, but they are horrible.
DISGUSTING!
This is just hideous tea! It tastes of muddy swamp water. Really disappointed that Ocado haven't stocked in Taylor's or Harrogate Assam tea, they stopped making boxes of 50 but it is now available in boxes of 20 and is far far superior tasting to this or any other brand! If 4th not re stocked I'm afraid I will stop shopping with ocado.
