Might be thinner than some brands of double cream but it actually does taste like cream rather than the supermarket brands which are thick but taste chalky and I am convinced are thickened with something.
Useful cream that usually has a long use by date which is helpful, good for cooking, great that it's in a glass bottle, not as tasty as I would have hoped though, and very thin, so don't tend to use as a pouring cream, whips well, just a bit too bland tasting, have tried a few times as well and seems the same, so don't tend to use for dessert except as a back up.
The cream is from outside happy cows, as a farmers daughter this is close to my heart, so to me worth the little extra and lovely, this dairy has good quality items. Glass bottle is a winner
Quite a thin double cream but it's delicious and it hits coffee quickly - it doesn't sink - meaning that very little is needed. It's not cheap, so I won't be buying it unless it's on offer. Great little bottle with resealable screw-on lid, handy if you've not got a vase for buds, or a water bottle small enough for your handbag.
