great!
nothing worse than cleaning a slow cooker... these work great
Great when its going to be a messy clean
I dont advocate their non-eco credentials, but sometimes lifes too short to spend hours slaving over a messy pot clean. I use my slow cooker a lot and, for occasional use, these are so handy to avoid burnt on casserole. I always have them in the cupboard.
No more dreading the pot wash up
Ive started using my slow cooker more as I dont get home from work till nearly 8pm, and these are a godsend. No more scrubbing the pot after a long day - you just pull these out and the pot is ready to be used again. Removed one star as I wish they were made from a more eco friendly material.
Makes life easier
No, probably not environmentally friendly, but I don't think me using one of these a week is going to make much difference to our abused planet. Having Rheumatoid Arthritis these make my life a tiny bit easier, so I shall continue to use them, save struggling to wash a big slow cooker pot.
Effective if a little environmentally unfriendly
I bought these because I hate trying to get the stuck on casserole sauce off the sides of my slow cooker. I know that they are not very environmentally friendly, so I use them sparingly, but they ARE great!!
Really??
Cooking in plastic! I can’t think of anything worse.. I’m sure some people will think these are a good idea, but I’d rather not serve up meals with chemicals from plastic leached into them. (Yes, these say BPA free, but what about all the other toxic chemicals in plastic??) Thats before considering the environmental impact of these single use plastic items. Washing up is part of cooking! No, I wouldn’t recommend!!
