Very good

I found that I could cook a whole leg of lamb with it spitting all over the oven and there was no smell around the house of roasting meat. All that being said, it's best to open the bag halfway through cooking, or you just get steam cooked meat which is quite a different texture.

leaky roasting bags

The bag leaked in the middle of roasting a joint. This is not funny. I am so upset.

Excellent and saves your oven getting messy!

Without fail I use these every time I cook a chicken. The chicken comes out brown and moist. The bags keep all the juices in so you can cut them open and use them for gravy.

Can't use it for lots of things -- too restricted

I got this to cook duck, which is so fatty and hence makes a real mess of the oven. But in the small print on the back, it says "unsuitable for high fat content such as duck". Would be good to know this *before* buying it. Looking to use it for other poultry, there are a lot of restrictions: oven can't be hotter than 200C, which is lower than where I like to cook poultry to get a nice crispy skin. And I have to leave "sufficient air space around the meat", whatever that means. What is sufficient? And cut exactly 6x 2.5cm slots in the bag. And make sure it doesn't touch the sides of the oven or anything else hot. I gave up. Would not recommend.
