Product information

A fruity, medium roast with notes of blackcurrant and honey. It's grown on small farms around La Plata, Huila between the dramatic peaks of the Colombian Andes - where we've been buying some of the best small batch coffee from the San Sebastian farmers since 2014. Then it's roasted in Harrogate and sealed quickly to keep the flavour fresh.

Finally a decent coffee from Taylors

Not going to waffle about flavour notes. Just a good strong all round coffee.

Like having a piece of 100% cocoa dark chocolate

This is good coffee if you like it slightly bitter. I only drink espresso with no sugar (nor milk) and for me this was like having a piece of 100% cocoa dark chocolate. As for caramel and brown sugar—I didn't get any of that—perhaps if you added sugar you'd get more of the stated tasting profile.

We like a variety of different coffee and this one is now on the rotation. Very smooth

Perfect balance of flavours and strength

Smooth, luxurious taste. Never bitter. It definitely has the rich cacao caramel taste described. Really my thing - I buy this consistently. :)
