Not as intense as the Nespresso version
The Starbucks *Nespresso* Dark Roast coffee pods are wonderful. They hit every spot with their intensity and mouthfeel, especially when made with ristretto quantities of water. The same unfortunately is not true for the Dolce Gusto version of the capsules. Maybe there's less coffee proportionally in the Dolce Gusto incarnation but they taste more watery, even when made with exactly the same amount of water.
Until to be the best but now VERY salty
These used to be my favourite coffee pods, the quality of which were far superior to others on the market, however over the last few weeks / the last few boxes Ive bought, they seem to have become unbelievably salty. what the heck???

Im reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. This is great tasting coffee and so convenient and quick to make with these pods.
so hard to recycle these - single use plastic
I was sent these to review. I usually use the reusable pods for my coffee machine. I fill them with my favourite coffee. But I thought Id try something new. The coffee is fine, but I cant see how to recycle them. Apparently they can be taken to a collect+ store in a special bag if you order more than 50 online. But whos going to do that?! So many of these will end up in land fill. Single use plastic isnt cool anymore!
