Mouldy within 24hrs
This used to be my favourite bread, but since the packaging change earlier this year the bread seems to go mouldy extremely quickly now. I've had several in a row where there's mould on the end slice within 12 hours and 75% of the entire loaf has been covered in mould within 24hrs (despite being stored in the fridge). It's unacceptable, especially for the price we have to pay for gluten free bread.
wow!
What a lovely tasting gluten free bread. Tasty and soft and lovely just warmed up in the toaster with a little butter spread on afterwards. Tastes good with cheese and very lightly toasted.
Absolutely delicious
This bread is so delicious! Id say nicer than normal bread! I had to keep checking that it was indeed gluten free as Ive never tasted anything quite like it. Bread has been my biggest miss since becoming GF and Ive wanted nothing more than to just tuck into a delicious sandwich or just enjoy a slice of toast. There was a review about it smelling funny after toasting and I absolutely understand with gluten free bread that (after toasting) some brands leave a sickly smell which is very off putting, but I certainly havent had that with this. It smells, looks and tastes amazing, toasted or not and I cannot recommend it enough 10 stars from me!
Awful taste
When it came out of the toaster it looked so nice and crispy and I thought how good it was to have found another decent gf bread. Then I tasted it. Oh lord, that is so bad, how other people can say it is their favourite I don't know but we must have severely different taste pallete. Over all, it's very small, and it tastes really bad. I love other schar products so it was a shame, but gf bread is so hit and miss.
Amazing Bread
Very happy with this bread, taste amazing. Schar have amazing gluten free, vegan products.
Thank the Lord for this bread
Ive been feeling so fed up since being diagnosed both gluten and lactose free and I kept trying different brands to TRY and replicate my favourites.I have been fancying cheese on toast since being diagnosed I kept trying and nothing was acceptable. As a final straw I bought this bread and cathedral city lactose free cheese its an absolute game changer just sublime. I tried marmalade on toast at breakfast and once again Im blown away by the quality of this gluten free bread just so thankful .
