Deliciously Fruity

This is a very light roast coffee, which may explain why some customers have not had much success with automatic coffee machines - this one really does repay some special attention! I found that it made a delicious V60 filter coffee, with a very sweet, fruity, tea-like finish almost like a fruit infusion, with many complex layers of flavour. With light roast coffees like this, you have to work harder to extract the flavour and get the best out of it, for example by using a finer grind size, higher water temperatures, and a higher coffee to water ratio. It is worth the effort!

Not for us

The description of these beans sounded good & they were on a flash sale so thought wed give them a try. The beans were chipped & looked rather sorry for themselves. The result in our bean to coffee machine was a bitter cup of coffee and not one Id like to repeat.

Roasted too long ago

July roast date, tasting in November means the vibrancy isnt as good as it could be. Id imagine the coffee would taste much better if roasted in the past week or two. Seems the pack I received had been in the warehouse a long time.

Good strong taste

This bean is vey good, the only down side is that - if used casually - it might be extra acidic. It's a bean for a proper coffee maker.

quite mild

I used this coffee to make cappuccinos. It is quite a mild coffee and doesnt have the depth that I prefer however my husband, who drinks black coffee, loved it. Price wise it is reasonable so I would repurchase
