Horrible now, undrinkable
Listen to your customers Ribena!!
I, along with sooooooo many others are disgusted and dismayed at how awful this once loved drink now is. For goodness sake, give us back our old recipe with proper sugar in it. Ribena must surely have noticed theyre not selling as much?! I am no longer buying this, I miss it but the new formula is just horrid. Youve wrecked such a good drink, its so utterly disappointing.
I would pay more!!
RIP Ribena... Im actually REALLY sad about this, I have always been brought up on the motos a little of what you like wont kill you and everything in moderation. I was taught to make sensible choices and Im bring my children up the same way! A bottle of Ribena would last about 4-6 weeks in our house and was a much anticipated treat. I hate that the choice has now been taken away. My 7 year old refuses to drink this (Ive deliberately steered away from sweetened things over more natural sugar sweetened products). Ive just tipped what was left down the drain. Coke Cola is the only drink left it seems!!
Is anybody listening...
I loved the old version. Yes it had more sugar but it is a taste I grew up with. I would pay more (annoying sugar tax) for the original taste. Guess what? I am not overweight, I have a good set of teeth and I dont have diabetes. Everything in moderation.
UTTERLY VILE - A ONCE LOVED PRODUCT RUINED!
As so many others have said this once massively loved product and for me my drink of choice for 40 odd years since childhood utterly ruined ... tastes synthetic, almost chemical - I haven't bought a bottle since they changed the recipe no doubt thanks to the enforced sugar tax. Ribena manufacturer is not listening to the millions of messages on this via social media and other reviews insisting Ribena has a great taste... ridiculous!!! As someone else said ... I hope you go under. You have Ribena Light so why change the original to symthetic ghastly artificial sweeteners? Bye bye Ribena ... from me and tens of thousands of other customers - very sad.
This isnt exactly the same as the old stuff, but its very close indeed with only an occasional taste of sweetener. I say that a person who can not stand diet drinks at all. I prefer this Ribena, having found the old version a bit too sweet. Definitely worth a try.
