From freezer to oven safely! To prepare for a busy week’s meals or freeze leftovers, Pyrex® has designed COOK&FREEZE, a range of heat resistant borosilicate glass ovenware, that allows you to move from freezer to oven safely. COOK&FREEZE is designed to withstand a thermal shock of up to 220°C. Without handle and with straight lines, its design allows optimal storage in the freezer.

Great for cook ahead family meals

I got these in the Black Friday sale, I've just had a fairly major operation, so won't be up to cooking everything on the day over the Christmas period, these will be brilliant as I can cook meals and freeze gradually in the run up to Christmas. The lids seal well, so it will keep the food fresh. The one thing I would say I would have preferred would be having the sides straight (like the small square pots they do) as that is more efficient for storage in the freezer, and also you don't have extra potato at the top edges with no meat underneath if it's a shepherds pie you've made in it!

Not as described

I bought this set as a Black Friday half price deal. I see the deal has been extended and wish I'd done my homework before buying. Despite what the ad says they're not straight sided; they're wider at the top than the bottom so will leave gaps when freezing. They have plastic lids so will have to cover with foil in the oven, which I was trying to avoid. Also one of them was badly chipped on the inside. I have requested a proportionate refund. I like Pyrex but disappointed in these.

Not really the right size

These are brilliant quality, but not really the right size either for a family or for a singleton. I bought a pack thinking they were takeaway pot size, but they're approximately double that, so not all that useful to me.

great tubs for batch cooking

I bought these in the Black Friday sale, Pyrex are a brilliant brand and I was desperate for some decent containers, Im really pleased with these, the lids are not the clip down type so thats the only future issue I can see, they have been in the oven & under the grill & no issues so far. The lids are plastic so they cant go in the oven. Really happens with the volume they hold, I use them for meals between 2 but you could easily serve 4 servings as I dont go all the way to the top.
