A really nice addition to a maternity gift box I'm creating. Pretty packaging, I'm reassured by the good reviews as far as actual taste. I generally like most pukka teas so hopefully they will be enjoyed by the recipient
I had really bad sickness when pregnant up to being 14 weeks and this tea was the only hot drink I could stomach! I still drink it everyday with my now 4 month old baby! Lovely tea.
Avoid during the first trimester
According to the Pukka tea website Motherkind Pregnancy tea contains raspberry leaf which had been used traditionally to support uterine tone in preparation for birth. In accordance with traditional use, we recommend that the Motherkind Pregnancy tea is consumed during the 2nd and 3rd trimester only. The raspberry leaf we use in this tea is blended with a combination of additional herbs which are safe during pregnancy and can be enjoyed up to four times daily to support the health of your baby. nice herbal blend
Although Im not pregnant but really enjoyed this blend when received to review. Already purchased again as I love herbal tea after dinner and this one became one of few in the rota.
Really like this one, not too sweet but nice subtle liquorice taste. Previous reviewer seemed upset by the raspberry leaf but this doesn't bring on contractions if your body isn't ready- studies have shown that drinking raspberry leaf tea through the second and third trimester can tone your uterus and mean that it works more effectively when you go into labour so it's a pretty good ingredient to have in pregnancy tea I'd say!
not pregnant but decent tea
I received this product for free to review. Not unpleasant but I wouldn't buy them again.
