I generally love all the pukka teas which have nice balanced flavours. This one is no exception. I agree flavour is mainly fennel which is the core ingredient and also has a nice hint of lemon. No Licorice root, which some people suggest to avoid when breastfeeding. Only negative for me, as with all pukka teas, is they are individually wrapped which I think is rather wasteful.
I prefer the Neuners Nursing Tea
I had been buying Nueners Nursing Tea but thought I'd try this because it was new and cheaper. It's very strong flavoured which I didn't mind it but some people might find it a bit too much. I prefer the taste of the Neuners tea, and perhaps I am imagining it but I would say the Neuners is more effective at helping with my milk supply, although obviously it's impossible to do a controlled test!
Really nice herbal tea
My husband was a little suspicious when this appeared in the cupboard! He was relieved when I explained that I'd ordered it for free as I was going to review it. It's really nice and he's also shared the odd tea bag. No strong pungent smell or taste. I'm tempted to order some more and leave it in our cupboard in the staff room...
other half loves it
other half and visitors love it. must say it smells nice, but not my cup of tea.
This is very plesant gentle tea. Great for anytime when you don't want a kick. I find that all the Pukka teas have a distinctive smell and taste. This one was gentler, which I liked!
strong tasting but nice change
Tried these for free and found them refreshing for a change. The taste was quite strong so I don't think I could have too many cups in one day but definitely pleasant.
