Yuk
Super acidic taste. Not good at all. Nice texture perhaps?
Nicer cold than hot
I'm not much of a fan of the Deliciously Ella range as everything I've tried has been overpriced and bland, and also not great on natural ingredients. Why use potato flakes when you can use real potato? Oh, let me guess - it's cheaper! Shame it's not reflected in the price, then. For once, though, the herby bites aren't bad and I thought they made a decent change to falafel. They don't taste massively of basil, but worked well in a pitta bread with hummus and salad. I liked them better cold than hot, as the flavour was stronger. They do fall apart very easily, though. And for the first time ever, I'd buy a DE product again, assuming it's on offer! Now if they'd only spare us the naff earth mother branding ...!
Delicious!
I buy these every week now, and sometimes just eat them straight from the pack if I’m feeling particularly lazy or tired. Otherwise 30 secs in the microwave leaves them moist and warmed through. I haven’t cooked them in the oven, which might make them dry. They are like falafel, but taste of basil, not cumin. I did not like the other, smoked version.
tasty
I am quite surprised by the negative reviews, I thought these were lovely and moist when heated in the oven!
tasty and versatile
Really enjoyed these as a snack warmed up. Had a few left over so decided to throw them in with a stir fry I was making, worked well. Really nice addition
why not using fresh ingredients?
Why not using fresh ingredients such as potatoes but instead processed potato flakes?
