Pleasant but odd

It's got a pleasant taste but my brain can't decipher if it's sweet or savoury, so it leaves me nonplussed.

really tasty

My husband has started having this for breakfast on bagels instead of Nutella (!). Good flavour, tastes a bit like gingerbread spread!

far too runny

Not only is this much too oily but the delicate flavour doesnt really shine through as almond. Strange, but quite palatable

check the ingredients

Sweetened with agave and why add the oil? Only almond butter worth getting is raw almond with Sicilian almonds - tastes like marzipan with no sweetener required! Liked the sound of cinnamon etc., but can easily add that myself to taste so I dont recommend this at all. I guess they add the oil as roasting the nuts makes them lose some almond oil so they have to put back in the cheaper oil so it doesnt get stodgy in the mouth.. always check ingredients!

So yummy!

My son refused to even try this today because it was almond butter and he doesn't like almonds, he's recently gone off peanut butter. I made him have one bite to taste. Then I told him that he's not allowed any because it's mummy's special nut butter, maybe too fancy for him and he protested very loudly. Think we have converted a 9 year old. (I was only joking btw)

Has rapeseed oil

I have bought multiple brands of nut butters and didn’t check the ingredients here and somehow DE manages to be the only one that has added rapeseed oil for no reason?! Would never buy this again
