Instructions

Air Fry - From Chilled. Suitable for air fryer heating, heat until piping hot.; Cooking Instructions - General. For best results oven bake or air fry; Microwave - From Chilled. (800W): Remove all packaging and place pie on a microwaveable plate for 90 seconds. Leave to stand for 60 seconds before eating.; Oven cook - From Chilled. Pre-heat oven to 180°C/160°C Fan/Gas Mark 4. Remove all packaging, place pie on a baking tray and heat for 15 minutes.

Youll need a chainsaw to cut it up

Tastes ok but the pastry is incredibly tough and almost impossible to cut. Just feels dry and old.

All Pastry

I was so excited to see PM pies had started doing hand pies. I love their pies and wanted to try this version. I was very disappointed its all pastry and no filling. If they tweak the recipe a little and add a little more filling the hand pie would be perfect,

Bit of a mixed bag

I think the idea is good, but not sure about the end product. Bought quite a few of these, in all the flavours. I like that you can eat them cold, but they don't work too well cold as the top of the pastry is too hard. They work better heated up. The steak is good, not so keen on the sauce flavour though. It's ok at best. Also not keen on the packaging. It says "We use a box, coz it's easy to recycle". Hmm. Yeah maybe, but it also gets soggy if delivered with other chilled items. And i had 2 of the boxes reach me opened where the perforations are. Completely inevitable to happen. Don't see the point of them anyway, i opened every single pie just by opening the end. The perforations are a bit of packaging disaster, can imagine loads of them not being eaten because they've accidentally opened when staff or customers pick them up.

Works brilliantly. My kids gobbled it up. Love this new handy version of these fabulous pies.

OK

It's a nice peppery, steak, and onion SAUCE pie. I can't say I found any meat in it, but it was OK for a quick bite to eat. I'm not sure I would bother to buy it again.

Tasteless

I really like the chicken tikka and cheese and onion ones, but this doesn't taste of much. I wish it had a meatier taste.
