Lovely
Best gluten free pie I've tried, lots of chicken, not dry and crispy pastry.
Delish!
Fantastic crisp pastry and smooth creamy filling
Nice filling
The filling tastes good, I thought there was cheddar in it. Decent amount of chicken. The pastry is nice too. But the whole thing arrived in pieces - I wonder if due to the gluten free crust. Added extra M&S gravy which worked well and served with homemade wedges and M&S mixed veggies. Good midweek meal if it hadn’t fallen apart.
Just OK.
I'm quite underwhelmed by this. The filling was mostly gloop - so little chicken, and no obvious ham. The taste was just fine. The pastry too was ok. TBH I hadn't actually taken notice it wasn't wheat flour - I just added it impromptuly on a flash sale. In fact, despite the title, I hadn't appreciated it was GF until reviewing it now! So the fact it tasted quite normal & satisfactory to me is a back-handed compliment :) It wasn't like unpleasant as some GF bread or pasta can be.
very tasty
I was pleasantly surprised with this pie. The pastry was tasty and not hard unlike the M & S pie I had last week. The filling was very tasty but some of the chicken was a little bit chewy but not so much that I wouldn't buy this again.
They have changed
Have bought these for years but the last three pies have been very different. A lot less chicken pieces and one or two massive pieces of ham the last of which one piece was inedible. Such a shame as they were a family favourite. On that bases I will probably try again in a few months and hopefully they will be back to the original quality.
