Beats a pyramid bag
I bought this to try in my new teapot that has a strainer built in, and i can't figure out how, but it's just better in every way. It's has more depth and flavour, but still tastes like pg. I think I may switch permanently to loose leaf now.
It\x27s ok....
I switched to loose leaf for environmental benefits and this tastes ok but the 'leaves' are very fine and go through the finest of strainers. Would not rule out but there must be a better, reasonably priced cuppa.
For PG fans
I was sent this tea by Ocado to review. I rediscovered loose tea making. It's a bit more of a faff but I think the end result is better. The tea is very fine. The flavour is not to my taste. For PG fans though I'd recommend it as a superior environmentally friendly alternative to tea bags.
Great bog standard all day brew
Great bog standard all day brew. Flavourful. Not dusty but fine so brews in double quick time. This is now my go to with a bit extra tea in the breakfast pot and a bit less tea in the evening pot.
Lovely tea with lemon
I was sent this tea to review by Ocado. I am not a regular black tea drinker, green tea is my go to choice. I had to wait for a strainer to arrive but I am pleased that I did as it was worth the effort and this tastes lovely with lemon. I will be offering this to my visitors now and it’s is more easy to prepare as a singleton than dunking tea bags as you can rejoin them with the tea pot and polish your environmental credentials at the same time.
Makes lovely tea, if you want to use loose leaf
Loose leaf is never as quick as teabags, but this makes a lovely pot of tea.
