Plump toms

If you are after lovely plump tomatoes these are perfect. I used mine as a base for bolly sauce so ended up chopping them up. When using them for this, I'm not convinced the extra cost is warranted.

Swapped to these after a rave review in a newspaper. Very runny and lacking sweetness. Back to Cirio!

Tuscany's not famous for its tomatoes, so why do we see so many Tuscan tomatoes in our supermarkets? It's because Tuscany is a favourite holiday destination of the British. I bought a tin of these on a BOGOF offer to try them and had my suspicions confirmed - this product is all about marketing rather than quality. Bland, insipid and watery.
