I love these olives

Not sure about the previous negative reviews but I guess everyone has different tastes and expectations. Ive been buying these olives for months now and I really enjoy them! They are a nice bite size (some come too small but not these ones) and they are nice and firm. I love the taste - for me its just right. Dont let previous negative reviews prevent you from trying these - they might just become your favourites like they did for me :)

Second best olives in the world

These are the second best olives in the world that I've ever tasted. To give you a little synopsis, these Organico olives were the best olives in the world around ten to eleven years ago (and probably longer than that). 2013, 2014. These were the olives that turned me on to olives and blew my little monkey mind out of its coconut shell. They were incredible, a small but significant taste of heaven. You cannot begin to fathom, if you never tried them, what they were like. They reinvented, re-imagined, for me, what olives could be. And from that moment onwards I was converted. I was an olive person. It's safe to say I was addicted, in a healthy way (they're olives for crikey sake), and in a whirlwind love affair with them; I loved them so much that I took a picture of myself pulling an 'intensely-absorbed' face whilst holding a jar and sent it to a friend. I still have the picture - ah, nostalgia! As now, they were olives in brine (salt water), the best kind (I say now with some authority), and they had herbs in the water, so they were steeping and soaking in herbs, like rosemary (and possibly lemon juice was added as a preservative), and that made, maybe not all the difference, but, a big part of the difference, as well as the fact that the olives were just great tasting olives on their own! In terms of choice, there were olives like this, plain, there were olives stuffed with chilli peppers, and there were olives stuffed with garlic cloves. These are the choices I remember. I loved all three choices, especially the plain (which, for the reasons hitherto outlined, were anything but plain) and the chilli pepper ones which gave two times the rush. Like a year and a half, two years after discovering them and having my world absolutely rocked they changed for the worse. It seemed like they were in decline as a business, it felt like they'd either changed the source of their olives or whoever was behind the brand just lost interest or was in difficulties. It was very strange. The olives were no longer in herbs, they didn't taste the same, they weren't the same, they were pappy and bruised and off. It went on like this for too many years. We're talking they went from being the best to the worst - more so because of the luxury decadent status previously afforded to them. Glowing reviews to abysmal one after another - people begging the god of olives for forgiveness and knocking on heaven's olive grove door, rapping out endless combinations, trying to crack the code. It was a real culture shock to the system. My immune system couldn't cope with the change, and I love and embrace change. Not this change. Anyway, it seems now that the company are rebranding themselves - RealFoods by Organico - and have rolled out a bunch of products they didn't use to do. I've tried a bunch of them this past week (sundried tomatoes, capers, artichoke hearts, soya chunks, and of course olives) and I can testify for the dramatic improvement, impeccable taste and quality, of each of these food items. All I ask - still knocking on that door for the team, still pestering the olive-headed god - is that thou, Organico, will please consider recapturing the brilliance, beauty and magic of olde? I don't know how. I don't know what it is you were doing. But at least try for me. At least add herbs to the olives, to the water. Because these olives are great, primo, supreme, second only to your firstborn. And, what with the nature of gods, your second born is your firstborn, and, on top of that, you're both progenitor and begotten, in other words you ate yourself and regurgitated into something else, a new form. You're still there. Flickering. I see you. I want to see you shine again. Don't eff with the current formula, but by all means help them along, coax the olives to be best they can be. This is an open letter. Thx!

Boycot.

if its not broke DONT fix it. they have changed and messed with the formula. ORIGINAL salt content was 0.94 Now they have doubled it to 3.3 . it also has a chemical taste. Why did you change your oild formula ?? Please return the pure olives with sea salt and WHY did u increase the sal ? You have lost a life long customer. ...this was previously a beautiful product. , what a shame.
