Very Good!
Really enjoyed this, a great alternative. Love that it’s high in protein & has omega 3 too!
Not a fan
Im a pescatarian and wanted to give this a go to find out if its a good enough substitute. Unfortunately the smell is overpowering and the texture is odd, so I wouldnt be buying again.
delicious!
I have been vegan for 4 years and before that vegetarian for 20 so its been a long time since I had tuna. So long I find it hard to remember what it tasted like. I hope that this is a good substitute as it was fishy, but not overly so that it made your kitchen smell or you taste it on your breath for hours after. I had it with some sweetcorn and cucumber mixed in with it in a sandwich and it was delicious. I could have eaten a second one. Tin was just the right size for me. Doesnt look very appealing (but then tuna doesnt anyway!) and texture is soft with a nice mayo dressing mixed in which doesnt make it too rich. Excited to try it again in some different dishes. Highly recommended for those choosing a cruelty free option to fish.
Great lunch option
I used half this tin with some cheese to make a very tasty tuna melt sandwich. It was so easy to spread, has a great texture and is full of protein so it’s ideal for a quick lunch. I’m also going to try it in a pasta bake
Best vegan tuna in the market
Doesn't look that appetising when you open the can but- it definitely smells like it and its probably the best vegan tuna you can find in the shops at the moment. I used this to make 'tuna' pasta bake and it was really lovely! Would buy it again :)
Great texture and taste
I really enjoyed the texture and taste of this plant based tuna alternative. It is really good in the oil as it’s not too heavy and is a great ingredient for quick and easy meals.
