Pros and cons
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. Pros: I really liked the whipped texture of this cream and how my skin felt moisturised and glowing after application. However, there's a certain thickness to the cream, which created a layer on my skin that would peel off when I touched my face. This may be due to the SPF content, but I've used lighter creams with the same SPF. Also, the cream peeled off my face when I wasn't wearing any make-up, but would probably be worse if I'd added foundation on top. I have dry skin and normally don't expect any cream to be too oily for me.
Great Moisturiser
This is a lovely moisturiser in a beautiful pot. I am outside all day and found the spf useful, as it meant I had a little repreve before having to don the factor 50. Too expensive when compared to other similar creams.
Super Soft Skin
Leaves my skin really soft, soaks in really easily and feels really nice.
LIght with no cloying fragrance
Ocado sent me this product as gift. It's light, is absorbed into the skin quickly and while it does have a fragrance, it's not overpowering, which I find can be a problem with a lot of other moisturisers. I have sensitive skin that can be dry in the winter, but this hasn't irritated it and is doing a good job of keeping it moisturised. It's not cheap, but I'd definitely consider buying it again in future
Great product
I always wear a moisturiser with spf but often the sun protection is inadequate. I have just been on holiday and found this was very effective in the sun. It is light, easily absorbed and did not feel at all heavy or greasy. I have very normal skin so am not sure if it would work as well with dry or greasy skin. Lovely subtle scent too.
ok depending on skin type
This item was given as part of a review. The cream has quite a nice texture and I like that it has a high spf. However because it has spf 30 it still has quite a thick consistency. I find that that is fine because it is winter and also I dont have a greasy skin however in the summer and when the spf is needed most it might feel a bit heavy and greasy. I prefer a lighter texture. Because of that I probably wouldnt rebuy.
