Product information
Did you know a brush with plastic bristles can shed hairs that can end up in the ocean?
Our dish-washing brush is 100% plastic-free, biodegradable and made from vegan and plant-based materials, including Beechwood and Sisal.
The Sisal bristles on our brush are a natural fibre, derived from the cactus plant and are 100% biodegradable.

Looks fab but deteriorates quicker than hoped
Ive bought these twice but both the body and separate brushes didnt last as long as Id hoped. Perhaps youre meant to buy a new body every six months but that isnt cost effective or environmentally friendly. Whilst an enthusiastic cook, I am a single household so average use.
Natural alternative
Like the idea of replacement brush heads. I did end up using the brush heads alone as I couldnt get the changed head to hold. Need a lot of strength to make it stay.
The wooden head keeps detaching from the brush
Unbelievably annoying to wash up with when the head keeps pinging off the brush. Also the brush doesn't seem to have lasted long
Good Idea, but Flawed
I bought this brush hoping to reduce plastics. Its a really good idea & initially it was fine, but now the head keeps falling off & needs leaving a couple of days to dry out before it can be refitted. I hope theyll find a solution & then Id love to buy another.
Good but handle breaks with use
Not a long term solution as the handle and metal hook break down with use, if sustainability is your goal here, you need to improve the handle quality and sell replacements. Brush quality is ok, they break down but they last quite a while.
Not replaceable
This is more expensive then other natural fiber brushes, which would be fine if it were truly replaceable-- but OceanSaver doesn't seem to sell replacement heads. You have to keep buying this set, and presumably throwing out your old handle. It's expensive and weirdly wasteful for a supposedly eco product. Also note that, of the three heads, only two are suitable for using on non-stick dishes; the third is stiff enough to scratch one of my non-stick surfaces.
