Certification body - Soil Association
Certification number - GB-ORG-05 UK Agriculture
Our organic chickens are reared on British farms, with the freedom to forage outdoors while enjoying an enriched environment in their shelters. They are fed a non-GM, certified organic diet. Because our chickens are active, explore the outdoors and are reared for longer, they develop a firmer texture and a fuller flavour.
There may be a slight odour on opening which will quickly disappear. This is normal and does not affect the quality or flavour of the chicken.

Weekly Roast
We get this most weeks for Sunday roast. As a family of 3 we usually manage 3 meals out of this and then I make a broth with the bones. Chicken always tastes great.
Tasty but small
Going organic is not the cheapest option and so is the case with this product. It is tasty and cooks well, sometimes the bird is small so you won't feed a large family with it.
terrible
Tough, tasteless and full of water. It was like a broiler. Would never buy again and would like a refund quite frankly! Not worth over £5.
Lovely Tasting Chicken
I got this on a flash sale and really impressed with taste and quality
Better Organic Chicken Elsewhere
Organic and free range chicken does tend to have more texture than broiler chickens, but this chicken is definitely not tough. It did release a suspiciously large amount of liquid however. At a 50% discounted flash sale price of £8 it was a bargain and will give me 6 meals and sandwiches so I have no complaints
When will you bring the price back down to £10?
I find most organic chicken to be tougher than the cheaper versions so find that cooking low and slow helps to keep it moist and ensure all the flavour is present. We tend to slow cook this upside down on low whilst out for the day (5-6 hours) on Sundays and crisp it up in the oven for half an hour whilst the vegetables cook when we get back. Perfect. It wasnt so long ago that this was under a tenner so please sort out the price! Thanks
