Bad batch?
Very sour. Almost inedible. I can eat lemon sa that says it all. Probably a bad batch but won't risk again.
Good value
Lovely plump blackberries. Good value, delicious with 0% Greek yogurt, a good low fat/low calorie dessert
Ooooh Not Plump
I've always bought a well known brand of blackberries from Ocado but these were a bit cheaper and seemingly had better reviews. No! They might be OK for a crumble or pie or blended but don't buy if you're wanting them for your gin! They are quite sour, small and not very tasty. The others you could actually defrost and they are so sweet, huge and very sweet.
tasty and cheap.
I use these straight from the freezer in crumble and they stay whole during cooking. For the quickest ever pudding combine with a jar of apple sauce and use a packet crumble mix. Works out about 75p a portion....and my husband loves it!
delicious
Bought to use in a crumble and they were very tasty, will use the rest in some smoothies but will definitely be keeping a bag in the freezer regularly.
great for children
We love these, eaten defrosted and in smoothies and crumbles. Always a hit with the children, as a snack! Not British, but Serbia has a great berry growing industry, which these appear to hail from.
