Brilliant product and still uses the rare commodity of sugar... utterly delicious especially with added ice cream. Even sprinkled on cereal instead of sugar because once you have eaten the Rice Krispies/ cornflakes you can finish with a strawberry milkshake at the bottom of the bowl win win!
I may be an adult but it's still a favourite and a regular in my shopping basket.
Makes fantastic yogurt
just add about 4 very heaped tbsp to a litre of UHT milk and proceed as usual. Makes delicious chemical free flavoured yogurts for a fraction of the price. This is also true of the banana flavour.
One of my favourite dessert ingredients.
Can use to make strawberry jelly using milk and leaf gelatine, strawberry cream, strawberry whipped cream, strawberry sponges, or just a good milkshake, as intended! Simply use in place of sugar for any recipe for a delicious strawberry flavour. Very cheap and no excuse not to have this in the cupboard, really.
Kids love it
For some strange reason my kids love this - Charlie and Lola's influence, perhaps? It gets them drinking milk anyway. However, I'm not too keen on the taste or rather, the lack of it.
Pink Milk Just Like Lola's
A nostalgic strawberry milkshake made in a flash - just add to ice-cold milk and stir (even better frothed up in a blender). Makes great ice-lollies too!
